How long will it take to receive my order?
- Production time varies by product, but typically ranges from a few days up to a few weeks depending on the complexity of your order.
- Shipping time will depend on the carrier and selected shipping at checkout, but you can generally expect your order within about 3 weeks from the time you check out.
- Slow fashion is exactly that: slow! Please be patient, as everything is handmade with love and care ❤️
Do you accept refunds/returns?
- As of right now, refunds are not permitted due to each piece being made to order for each customer. Exceptions are made for items that arrive damaged. You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To start a return, you can contact us at Hello@SugarAndSpiceCrafts.com to receive the link for beginning the refund request. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
How do I take care of my crochet items?
- DO NOT bleach, iron, or wash with hot water.
- Care depends on the type of item:
-
Earrings should be gently spot cleaned, as washing will remove the fabric stiffener that maintains their shape.
- Other accessories such as hats and scrunchies should be handwashed and laid flat to dry.
-
Apparel would ideally be handwashed for the piece's longevity, but, let's be real: no one likes handwashing! Realistically, you can wash it in a gentle cycle on cold and lay it flat to dry (as hanging can stretch the piece) or gently tumble in a dryer (though the piece will not likely last as long).
How do I take care of my stained glass items?
- Avoid using suction cups to hang stained glass pieces. They can fail and cause damage. Use a sturdy screw-in hook or nail instead!
- Stained glass pieces contain lead and are safe to handle. Lead is only harmful if ingested or inhaled, so wash hands after handling & keep away from children & pets.
- To maintain & clean, rub carnauba car wax or lemon Pledge spray with a soft rag. Don't use chemical or acid-based cleaners.
- Over time, solder may oxidize and produce a white film that can look like mold. It's normal! Just gently scrub with a non-abrasive plastic toothbrush or scrubber!

There are ends of yarn sticking out of my piece after wearing/washing, what do I do?
- No worries! It's normal for crochet items to do this over time. Take a bobby pin or toothpick to push the end back into a nearby stitch. If you have some on hand, you can even use fabric glue to seal the end so it won't budge.
